How can I drill down from a total to the individual components?

hey all. relatively new to power BI and I'm struggling with the drill down feature. I've gotten it to work when PBI is able to recognize the natural hierarchies like dates, but when I make my own it doesn't work so well.

- I'm trying to measure the progress of different projects in a column chart where the first level is the total progress and then I drill down into the components that make up the total for each of the projects.

- Each project has 10 categories, which are assigned a value 0-5 (0 being nothing has been done and 5 being complete).

- The sum of these categories is the total progress. So 0 would be no progress on the overall project, and 50 would be the project is complete.

- Ideally, the top level would be the project names on the axis with the total progress as the values

- Drilling down would show the individual categories/components of the total progress on the axis with the values being the data inputs (0-5) for each one.

Is this possible?

@roryhill,

It seems that you just need to drag project and category to Axis.
