How can I display a full range of dates in a graph without data being aggregated

Hi all,

Apologies in advance for the dummy level question but I got stuck on this.

I'm trying to replicate in PBI this graph I have in Excel:

(FYI: you can find the raw data of this table at the end of this post just in case it helps you to help me 😉)

But the best I can get with PBI is this Line Chart graph where it only displays one data point per year:

So far so good. But when I drill down, it displays aggregated values following the hierarchy (Quarter, Month, Day ...) and the visual does not meet any more what I need.

Is there any way to keep displaying the full range of dates so that, when drilling down, the X-axis graph changes to

- Q1.2019, Q2.2019, Q3.2019, Q4.2019, Q1.2020, Q2.2020, ...

- ... Oct 2019, Nov 2019, Dec 2019, Jan 2020, Feb 2020, ...

Thanks in advance for your help!

Cheers

J

Hello @JPux
I mean you can plot the Year (2021), MonthYear (Jan-21), QuarterYear (Q1-21), and Date (01-01-2021) columns and drill to the next level accordingly.

Hello @JPux
You can plot Year, MonthYear, QuarterYear, and Dates. After plotting please keep drilling one by one till the last level (Date).
Thank You.

Hi thanks for your reply and help.

Sorry, not sure I follow you. What do you mean by "You can plot Year, MonthYear, QuarterYear, and Dates"?
