I have 3 tables containing revenue data for several countries: actual data, forecasted data, and planned data. All tables have a common column, Sub_Region, which I've been using as the primary key.
Forecast Data Table:
Actual Data Table
Planned Data Table
My issue is that I've been asked to get all the data in a matrix and compare like this excel sheet:
I've manipulated the data quite a bit in the query editor and have created a table for the regions, 2021 planned and 2021 actual data:
My idea was to form a custom column for each quarter but I fear this will mean creating several "dummy" tables to merge one quarter grouping at a time. Is there another approach that might be easier to accomplish this?
