How can I apply an imported theme to a Power BI report?

Hello:

I am trying to apply a theme (.JSON file) that I imported. I am creating a map visual in Power BI, so I grabbed a map.JSON template from this site (https://github.com/deldersveld/PowerBI-ThemeTemplates/blob/master/Map.json) and edited the font family to Roboto, which is the font I want to use.

I then went to Switch Theme -> Import Theme and selected the JSON file that I created. I get a message that the theme was imported successfully, but don't see any change to the existing report. Also, I don't see Roboto listed as an available font when I edit text.

So, I'm not sure how to apply the theme, or how (or where) I can view the .JSON file after I've imported it.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @johnwedeles ,

You could open format tab and check if the font family you want exsits.

If not, you could follwing this case to add it.

Could be the specific visual that you are using, it looks like that JSON file targets a specific map visual but not necessarily all map visuals. Also, if you have specifically set some format settings away from their defaults, this tends to override your theme.
