How can I add a text value to a tool tip

Hello All,

As i am new to PBI, need to enable the Tool Tip in the PBI,

i have downloaded the PBI in the below link.

https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/desktop/

is that fine, or should i upgrade to the PBI Desktop.

You can directly drag the text field to the tooltips of charts, there is an example for your reference.  And you can follow the instructions in this article:https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-custom-tooltips.


If you want to create report tooltips, please review this online document.

Please share sample data of your table and post expected result if the above methods don't meet your requirement.
