How I can replace an existing date calendar with the amazing calendar by SQLBI?

How I can replace an existing date calendar with the amazing calendar by SQLBI?

That is, I have a calendar creater by calendarauto(6) and have a small set of typical some customer fields, FY, Month etc. and now I want to use SQLBI's custom calendar.  I have imported SQLBI's calendar into my model, can you remove the old calendar, rename the new calendar to the old calendar name, add my previous customer date measures to the new calendar, and all the measure DAX formulas still work?

Or do the date calendar measures have nique IDs that will break when you point it to a different date calendar with the same named measures.

Thanks in advance

John

Probably best not to remove the old calendar as a first step, just delete the relationships it has and rename it Dates_old.

Re-create the relationships to the new SQLBI date table. Rename the new date table.

"add my previous customer date measures to the new calendar" - Isn't it a bit unusual to have measures using a date table as a home table?
