Histogram with threshold/constant line on x-axis

Hi all,

I want to plot a histogram an add thresholds (constat lines) for the histogram. That is so far possible for the numerical value on the y-axis but not yet supported for the x-axis.

I have a dataset that shows values between [0;100]. Imagine, I want to set a constant line at 25 and at 75. Thus, I would add upon the bins further 3 intervals, namely [0;25], [26;75];[76;100]

Thus, my questions:

  • Can I create thresholds/a constant line on a histogram for the x-axis? If yes, can I do it without a custom visual? If not, which custom visual currently available supports this functionality?
  • Can I further identify how many items are with each new interval? So that I have either a % value or an absolute value of X items in [0;25], Y items in [26:75], and Z items in [76;100].

Thank you for suggestions and  best regards,

Conny

If possible, have you tried to use shapes to  create thresholds/a constant line on a histogram.

Thank you @v-easonf-msft for your support!

The last link (using shapes) helped me to create the vertical lines as desired.

Best regards,

Conny
