Hi to all of you!
I have a fairly specific question regarding visualization options for a line chart, area chart or similar.
At the moment, my dashboard consists of:
- 1 in bewteen slicer (year of 2020)
- 1 card (displaying value A)
- 1 line chart (displaying value A)
When I adjust my slicer, value A is changed accordingly both in the card and the line chart. In the line chart, the visual is "zoomed in" on the period chosen, e.g. 6/1/2020 - 9/1/2020. I wonder if it is possible to keep the line chart fixed, displaying the whole year of 2020 without zooming in the chosen perid, but still highlight the chosen period in some way?
To demonstrate, I'm thinking something like this but for a longer period, not just one day as shown in the picture. If this isn't possible, how do I "freeze" a line chart?
Thank you so much on forehand!

HI @Anonymous,
Slicer is work on filter records, it not able to use highlight mode to interact with visual charts.
For filter on who year instead of filter range, you can use a unconnected date field as source of slicer and write a measure to check selected range and current records to return tag, then you can use on visual level filter to filter records.
