Highlight a specific bar based on selection in dropdown

Hi,

I want to add a functionality wherein if I select a value from dropdown then its corresponding value bar in the bar chart must get highlighted and other bars get blurred or the bar colour gets changed.

Is it possible?

Hi @Anonymous ,

It's not possible to make slicer to highlight other visuals only without filtering data, you can try to use a Table visual instead of a slicer when you click on an entry, it will highlight the corresponding bar in the chart.

Thanks Joey, but the issue is when I select a field from table the corresponding bar gets highlighted but other bar values goes down to 0 value.

Hi @Anonymous ,

I think what you might say is to change the interaction between visuals, In Desktop, select Format > Interactions.11.PNG

For more information, please refer to the following documents: Change how visuals interact in a Power BI report
