Hierarchy not summing correctly

Hi. I have two measures: Rev 2017 and Rev 2018 and I am making comparisons with data hierarchy. They work perfectly alone, but when I put them together in a chart, both in the value field, one of them (the latest included) doesn’t respect the month and quarter sums. It gives in every line the total year revenue. I know this must be very simple. But I am new in Power Bi and would appreciate any help. Thanks a lot

Hi. I have two measures: 2017 total revenue and 2018 total revenue. I am using them with date hierarchy.
They work just fine when used alone. I mean, they sum by quarters, by month and by year. However when I select both to be shown in a graphic, the last one added does not sum correctly. It just gives the total revenue number in any view. I know it is pretty simple, but I am new in Power Bi and would aporeciate any help. Thanks in advance

Are 2017 and 2018 different tables?

If yes, it is highly recommended to use a separate DateTable instead of maybe linking the Date columns.

Please give us further information.

Marina,

Can you show us the DAX of the two measures?

It could be a faulty filter on one or both of them that isn't restricting it to the correct year.

Thanks,
