Hi,
I'm using the Hierarchy Slicer,
when i'm trying to filter multiple selection like the example below:
Type | CCY
FI
BRL
USD
ILS
FX
(all)
I'm getting an error:
"we can't display this visual because a measure is used in cross highlighting"
If i filter like this:
Type | CCY
FI
FX
it's ok.
What does this error means and how can i resolve this?
Regards,
Eran
Hi @Anonymous,
I tested the Hierarchy Slicer in my desktop file, it worked fine, I could not reproduce your problem. It looks lke the error message you encountered was related to the measure displayed in visual.
For further analysis, please share sample data (including table structure, relationships and sample data records) and the formula of this measure and how you created the report so that I can try to replicate your scenario.
Regards,
Yuliana Gu
I attached a sample of what i'm trying to do.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/r6hleybhjgm4egk/HierarchySlicerEx.pbix?dl=0
there are 2 tables there:
1. the one that cause error - the "pl" field is using sum
2. the one that works fine - the "pl" field is not using aggregate function

Hi @Anonymous,
It looks like an issue with custom visual "Hierarchy Slicer". I noticed that some records are shown as (blank) in slicer, please delete dataset and load data agian to see whether it works. Also, please contact the author of this custom visual via adding comments at this page.
Regards,
Yuliana Gu
