Hierarchy One Selection Only

I need to create a slicer that only allows one selection at a time.  I created a hierarchy for Carrier and Service Line, but when I select a carrier, all the service lines are selected.  I only want the user to be able to select one choice at a time.  I don't see any way in the selection controls to do that.  You can select to only allow one selection, but that doesn't seem to apply when you select the first level of the hierarchy.  Is there a better way to do this?  I guess I need to organize the entries, so the first level of the hierarchy is a grouping really.

Hi @ConnieMaldonado ,

You can try to use 'Smart Filter Pro by OKVIZ' custom visual, set its mode as 'Observer':

@ConnieMaldonado  Hey Mate ,

You can use this Custom viz .

Try this .

As you know, it is only supported to choose "single selection" for all levels. We can't select options specifically. And after researching, I'm afraid there is not a workaround to implement it.

Hi, @ConnieMaldonado

Please correct me if I wrongly understand your question.

I think you can select MNS.

If you select MNS, then only MNS will be selected.

Thank you.

That's true, but if I select "ATT" then both choices for ATT will be selected.  As you can see from the image, when I select "VZN", all options are selected.  I guess it doesn't make sense to set up a hierarchy for this, although I like the look of it.  I don't want the option to select "ATT" or "VZN" only the items underneath in the 2nd layer of the hierarchy, and only one at a time. 🙂
