Hello,
I use a table F_DOSSIERS with the fields EMPLOYEE, REGION, OFFICE, CREATION_DATE, AMMOUNT_DOSSIERS:
I want to make a clustered column chart (or any chart with a legend) based on
Axis: Hierarchy of CREATION_DATE
Value: SUM(AMOUNT_DOSSIERS)
Legend: REGION
OFFICE
But it's impossible to add more than one field in Legend. Its either REGION or OFFICE
The graphs are respectively:
Is there a way to have a hierarchy in Legend in such a way that for legend a drildown can be used
I tried making a hierarchy
But when I add this Hierarchy to the Legend, only one of the fields is accepted:
I want to realise this without using bookmarks
Is this possible?
Thanks
R.W.
@Anonymous I think you could achieve your goal if you follow the approach described in this video:
(2) Power BI - Dynamic Axes and Legends! (Easy) - YouTube
@Anonymous I don't know this you can have a hierarchy on the legend, I think bookmark is your best option.
I would ❤ Kudos if my solution helped. 👉 If you can spend time posting the question, you can also make efforts to give Kudos whoever helped to solve your problem. It is a token of appreciation!

thanks, but I use already several bookmarks to show 16 different graphs and tables and matrices.
If I combine that it becomes at least 32 bookmarks to make the differents visualisations.
This is unmaintainable. Thats why I was looking for a solution without bookmarks

@Anonymous bottom line is you cannot have multiple legends.

A real pity.
In QlikView this is completely possible.
I'm asked to convert a QlikView report to Power BI...

@Anonymous not surprised, you should add this as an idea on ideas forum.
