I have two grids,Clicking on one i make the second one visible .The 1st grid is a summary grid and the second one is detail grid.
Based on certain conditions i need to make the detail grid show columns dynamically.
Clicking on summary grid on top i need the detail to show 4 columns in a certain scenario and 6 columns in another scenerio.
Is this possible without using buttons or bookmark logic, just using dax and other features of power bi?
Not really, apart from BLANK()ing out the extra two columns via a measure, or using measures as columns.
can the headers also be made hidden dynamically using measures along with values,if yes ,can you provide some examples.
Hi @ganeshharan81 ,
For Table visual, we can't make columns hided dynamically with DAX. It can be implemented in Matrix. (Reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jeSIRpjv0M)
I think you could create two Table visuals and use bookmarks to make them shown or hided. For more information, please reference the blog and the video:

Hi @ganeshharan81 ,
Does it make sense? If yes, please accept the helpful answer as a solution. More people who have the same request will benefit from this thread.
no, all you can do is print the headers as white text on white background (via conditional formatting). You can't make them disappear.
can you give me some examples, can you expand on that?
