Hide gauge visual when goal value is zero

I'm putting together a dashboard to display at the shop for the mechanics to see.

One of the displays is weekly output goals per type of equipment. Sometimes the goal for the week is zero but the gauge still shows on the dashboard.

Is there a way to automatically hide them when the goal value is zero?

Belo is a screenshot of this week as an example.

  • The first type of equipment has a goal this week of 12 units and we've done 3 so far.
  • For the fourth we had no goal but were able to get one through.
  • However for the last three we have no goals this week, but we might have next.

Thanks in advance for any help

maybe modify the measure to return blank instead of 0s?

Thank you for the kudos 🙂

I've tried that but then the visual will just display (blank) instead of a zero.

Hi aortuno,

There's a workaround, click format->Callout Value->Select the white color, the result is like this:

Hi Jimmy, thanks for your answer.

I was thinking that another possible solution would be to show the Gauge as "complete" if the goal is zero.

That way, towards the end of the week, it wont look like we have a bunch of "incomplete" work when that's not the case.

Thx

Hi aortuno,

Good to hear this. In this senario, it seems like your solution is better.

Hey thanks! I don't know how to set that up though lol
