Hide a field from a Table visual and still allow cross report drill through with another Table Visua

Hi All,

Consider the following scenario.

I have a list of Customers displayed in a Table visual

Overview table

I want to link this visual to another Report page via Drill through.

Drill through child table

I do not have a problem with Drill through - however I want to hide the "Id" column because it is not visually neccessary.

Challenge - If I remove the Id column then Drill through does not work.

Question - Is there anyway I can hide the Id column and still retain the Drill through link?

Thanks,

Sau

@Anonymous , Ideally that is not possible.

The only thing I can think of is the reduce its width to almost 0. Just like excel near to header and edge of the column. The mouse cursor will change. Use that and reduce its width to almost 0. If needed give it a one character name

Thank you @amitchandak  for looking into this.  Your solution approach, which is essentially renaming the column to a single digit would address my scenario. However, I think my scenario is fairly scenario is fairly trivial and easily accomplished in SSRS, and Excel. I was looking for an alternative whereby I could simply "hide" a column on a Table without doing report wide changes.

It makes me wonder why nobody ever came across such a problem before.

Thank you.
