Hide Tables based on user logins

Hello,

I have a PDBI dataset that consists of many fact tables and dimensions. However, not users will need to use or see all the tables.

Using the roles creation on PBI desktop, I have been able to filter out all unwanted rows per table for each roles to be used.

However, the users when they log on can still see the table header name albeit they are not able to see or use any of the data in a report that has been filtered out.

I want to know of there is any possibility to hide the table names so that users do not see the tables for which the data has been completely filtered out.

Thanks

Veemal

You may want to read about OLS - Object Level Security.   Note: Requires Tabular Editor.
