Help with percentage of total

Hey there!

I'm struggling to build a simples (or not) graphic.

I have 4 columns that represent a total.

By setting to visualize the data as 'percentage of grand total', it does show the percentage of grand total.

I'd like to see the percentage of the total by column.

Here is how it is:

This is what I need (excel):

Hey,

please excuse, but I do not understand this

"I have 4 columns that represent a total" (4 columns / 1 total

whereas you columns reflect "I have 4 columns, each representing a part of a separated total" (4 columns / 4 totals)

Can you please create a pbix file with sample data (that either allows to create a stacked column chart by a subcategory or a second measure), upload the file to onedrive or dropbox and share the link.

Regards,

Tom

It is showing (4 columns / total)"

If you sum the values on each column you'll have 100%.

I'd like to know the (4 columns / 4 total) as the second image shows.

X represents the types of customers (PRIME, TOP, BASIC or PLUS)

Y is a binary field. Its fields contains 'Yes' or 'No'. I'd like to know, for each type, the percentage of Yes or No.

I'm afraid I can't post the file because it contains sensitive data. Despite that, i'll work something out and post the same case using another example in a few minutes.

If I use 'detailed filter' (not sure this is the correct name on Power BI english version) it works.

I used a filter by X row (customer type // Segmento in portuguese) and it showed the BASIC YES AND NO / TOTAL OF BASIC.

Now I just need to do this with all customer types.
