Help with how to correctly shape my data source

Hello,

I am currently creating a dashbaord to demonstrate the following indicators from our day to day operations:

- Incoming Requests (Volume received)

- # of transactions completed

- # of transactions outstanding

I am having issues since my Volume and Completed columns are not cumulative while my outstanding column is. So when I am making a graph, it makes the sum of the volume and completed column which is good but it also sum up the outstanding column while the values in this column are already a sum...

I would like to optimise the structure of my datasource, here is what it look likes right now.

Date TypeVolume (New)Completed (New)Outstanding

Thank you very much in advance.

@Whoule

Which chart are you using? can you explain with your chart? Normally you should add type to legend to distinguish.

The issue is that I want to report on how much we completed vs the # of outstanding items as of a certain date. The data for my completed column seems fine in my chart since it sum up the values as of that date. The problem is that it also sum up my outstanding items from my data source...
