The report that I made is a line chart and I would like to make the same chart numerous times, with different data but with the same formatting that I applied to the visual such as the legend, the data colors, the y-axis, and data labels. Is there a way I can save only the formatting I created and then upload the new data without the need to format the chart each time I make a report? My goal is to upload data and have each report have the same type of formatting.
I would also like to be able to upload data as a percentage. The data I am working with is in percentages and I realized that I am needing to format several columns into a percentages and would like to know if there is a simpler or quicker way of doing that.
Hi @bcastillo
You may copy the formatted chart and then replace the data with the new uploaded data. Based on my research, there is no way to upload data as a percentage. For your requirement, you may submit an idea here.

how do I upload the new data into the chart? When I open the template I made and upload new data it creates a whole new set of data and I am not able to use it on the template.
Hi @bcastillo
The way is supported in Power BI desktop. There is no way for your request in Power BI Service.

Cherie
