Hi everyone!
I have a report to build that is composed of 3 files:
Fact Excel files: 3gb and a growing pace of 300Mb per month.
Product Excel File: 50 mb, quite static.
Clients Excel File: 50 mb, quite static.
Business Excel File: same as above.
The idea was to consume this data from SharePoint folders so dynamicly we could upload files there and update them from Power BI. However the SharePoint connector performance is VERY bad and when refreshing the data crashes (I'm refreshing after a month and I've been 4 hours trying to get it load, from Power Query everything is correct but when trying to load it to the model it crashes).
Could someone give me a hand? Or at least a recommendation?
Thanks!
Nobody with the same issue?? 😞 . So right now I'm trying to configure the Gateway but i can´t understand how it works :S
I can configure the pbix in the local machine and configure the gateway. My only question is for the refresh to work from the user's end the .pbix needs to be opened in the source computer, no?
Hi @Anonymous ,
Could you have tried to save the files in local and configure a gateway to refresh your data:
