Hi all, I'm having a little trouble with created and maintaining bookmarks that involve only a few visuals on the page.
Right now, I'm only working with two fields: "name" and "time". I have a screenshot of the report below, with the different visuals labeled with letters from A-K to make them easier to reference.
The workflow of the report will be selecting a name from the slicer (A), which then filters down the list of timestamps, then further filtering the list down by clicking on "Today" (C), "This Week" (D) or "This Month" (E) to get only the timestamps from that time range. I used a date slicer (K) and set it to "This 1 Day", "This 1 Week", etc. while highlighting visuals B, C, D, E, F and K to create the bookmarks, before selecting "Selected visuals" from the bookmark options. The date slicer will be hidden before publishing the report. I kept "Data" checked because I wanted the date slicer values to change depending on the date range, but then had to opt for selecting all visuals except for the slicer (A) because I wanted to keep any slicer selection by the user -- if I didn't use the selected visuals optoin, the slicer would reset completely everytime I clicked one of the buttons.
Now I want to add the ability to have the buttons appear "selected" everytime I click on one. The plan is to have visuals G, H, I and J be located behind visuals C, D, E and F, but hidden, When the "Today" button is clicked on, linking to the "Today" bookmark, for example, the white button (C) will be hidden using the selection pane, and the blue button (G) will appear instead. However, when I try to create these bookmarks, the work I've done in the selection pane becomes undone everytime I switch between two bookmarks. I start by hiding the relevant buttons, then selecting the rest of the appearing visuals (with the exception of the name slicer), then creating the "selected visuals" bookmarks. But then say I switch between This Week and This Month -- the buttons I initially hid reappear again. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi @christinamarie
Based on my research, I am afraid you could not achieve your desired result, due to the bookmark will save current page and will not affect other pages in different bookmarks.
Reference:https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-bookmarks
I suggest you to create a new bookmark containing the whole visuals that you could use this bookmark to return a complete page. Then you could choose which bookmark to show your report.
