Two date slicers would be needed to aid the users to operate the comparison periods between 1 and 2.
Can anyone help me do this?

One way to do this is to have two disconnected Calendar tables. A slicer is tied to each one but these slicers do NOT filter anything on the page. You then construct measures such that they start out with something like:
Measure = VAR __date1 = MAX(Calendar1[Date]) VAR __date2 = MAX(Calendar2[Date]) ...
You can then base your calculations on these VAR's. This might also help:

Thanks for the reply.
I need the two slicers for example have the ability to show the data in the table from the outcomes by operating the first slicer in say Period 1 date point x and y to slicer Period 2 date point x and y.
Can you help?
