Help needed in power query

Hi 

 

Can some one helpme.I am new to powerBI.I have a scenario explained below.

 

I have two tables 

 

Table 1

 

col 1    col 2    col3

abc

bnn

fffg

hhh

 

Table 2

 

col 1

 

04/04/2018

12/04/2018

 

desired output

Table 1

abc                         abc_04/04/2018

Someone please help to get it done using powerquery/DAX

Thank You So much for your help.

 

For each entry in col 1 of table1 i have different patterns to follow while concatenating.So i may need an IF to concatenate.

Can we do the cross join and if conditions in one step.
