Heatmap visualization

I have the following data representation

Date

Name

I want to create a heat map as below

Name1    3          10

Name2    5           7

Name3    2           4    ...

                Day1  Day2    Day3    Day4  ...

Would like to get some pointers on how this can be achieved and what is the best visual..

@gjadal

I'm not clear about your expected result. Currently, you can download the custom visual "Table TreeMap" from: https://app.powerbi.com/visuals/.

You can specify a color schema and dynamically show colors based on data values.

Regards,

I want the y-axis to be grouped by names and x-axis to be the date. with the count of names depicted by color in the heatmap.

I want to have dynamic values in the Y axis for the heatmap.

From the sample, I see that I have to manually pick the values for the Y axis.

If my values are generated in the input for example,

sometime the values could be

Year 10       2      5     7

Year  11      10    3     3

and other times it would be

Year 9      3     5     2

Year 10    4     2     5

How do I make sure the heat map shows these values?
