Header formatting - Matrix visual

Dear Community

Hope someone here can help. Facing a very strange formatting issue. The matrix displays differenly in desktop vs. service:

In desktop I see:

In service I see:

So somehow vertical lines are added. I would really appreciate help on how to fix the issue - tried many things 🙂

Thanks in advance

Marcin

Hi,@Anonymous

This is a known browser rendering issue, there will be vertical lines if view mode is not set to "Actual size".

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/power-bi-report-display-settings#in-the-pow...

In this situation, please click the Page view settings > choose "Actual size".

Hope it helps.

Hi,@Anonymous

I checked the settings on both Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service and found that the default setting for Page view is Fit to page.
This default setting could not be changed currently.
You can only change the page view on Power BI Desktop in advance, or after publishing the report to Power BI service.

Sorry for the inconvenience,if you want to learn more about how to change the page zoom ,you can refer to this :https://www.excelcampus.com/powerbi/page-zoom-text-size/

Hope it helps.

Best Regards,

Caitlyn Yan

Hi @v-xiaoyan-msft

Thanks for yoru reply. It resolves the issue but I need autoscaling. Is there any way to have both:

1) Autoscaling

2) Correctly rendering matrix visuals?

Thanks in advance

@aminchandak - thanks so much for your answer however:

* It did not resolve the issue

* I checked with another user - sees the same incorect rendering

* Interestingly it works ok on edge but generates wrong in chrome

Would appreciate any ideas on what the issue could be.

Thanks in advance

@Anonymous , if it showing the same behavior on chrome across all users then this can be an issue. Hope chrome is on the latest version.

Is it not working for all users on Chrome?

Hi,

Its consistently incorrect on Chrome. Across number of users.

@Anonymous , check and report a new issue if needed -https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues
