I was coming across the message “You need to use SSL (HTTPS) when you use OAuth 2.0 authentication”. I resolved the issue by following these steps:

  1. Make sure that your browser allows pop-ups.
  2. If you're not using Microsoft Edge and the error persists after enabling pop-ups, consider switching to Microsoft Edge.

I found this helpful checklist here: link.

Hi @Cathydu,

Were you attempting to connect to CRM in desktop or get Dynamic content pack in service?

To visualize data in desktop, please follow steps How to Connect Power BI to Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online

While for contect packs, please refer to:

Use Power BI with Microsoft Dynamics 365

Enabling Your Business Data for Power BI
