I am adding a drill down functionality in matrix visual. I am under the impression that when you click on value in a higher hierarchy, it opens up values under that hierarchy. However, all other values in higher hierarchy are still visible.
Col
level1Value1
level1Value2
level1Value3
level1Value4
level1Value5
Now, if I click on level1Value1, I expected to see the following:
Col
level1Value1
level2value1
level2value2
level2value3
.
.
.
level1Value2
level1Value3
level1Value4
level1Value5
However, I am seeing this:
Col
level1Value1
level2value1
level2value2
level2value3
.
.
.
I am not seeing any of these :
level1Value2
level1Value3
level1Value4
level1Value5
Was it always like this or something has changed recently?

hi, @tvaishnav
As far as I know, there is no change in Power BI matrix visual recently.
When you enable drill down mode, and click one hierarchy, it opens up values under that hierarchy, but other values in higher hierarchy are not visible.
What you said should be Matrix +/- Collapse/ Expand Buttons in power bi.

Lin
