Has Conditional Formatting FX been removed in bar charts in Ver Dec 2020 ?

Have the 'FX' (Advanced Controls) Conditional Formating features been removed for bar charts in Dec 2020 ?

I need to add conditional formating colors to the bar data in a simple bar chart.
Last year I could do this by selecting the FX icon (after Ive switched it on !), in the Data Colors section.

But now it's gone completely !

Why ?

To Reproduce what Im doing:

  1. Add a bar chart to the report.
  2. Add a data source to populate the bars
  3. Select the 'Format' mode, and go to 'Data Colors'
  4. Where is the FX icon?  and if you hover over the default color swatch, the "new" vertical elipsis (3 dots) does NOT appear either

Why?

@Anonymous , I doubt that has been removed, I am using same and it is there. Conditional formatting is only supported with one value and No legends

example: When I have 2 values. It not there. Same way it will not be there if you use legend

Ahhh. wait.  Ive discovered what is causing it.

Its my source data format

When my data is spread over a row, the conditional format doesnt work.
But when it is listed in a column, the conditional format FX icon DOES appear 🙂

Bit strange, but im sure there is some logic to the madness somewhere.

Thanks for your helpful hint.

Thanks Amit,

but Ive just tried that and I still dont get the FX icon.
This screen shot is a simple bar chart, with only 1 data value, and no legend...
...and it still doesnt show the FX icon or the ellipsis
