Handle null dates in report

Hi everyone!

I'm using Power BI Deskop and feed my report from SQL Server Analysis Services database.

I have an error on -1 dates (in SSIS I replaced null dates by -1 as recommanded by Kimball), Power BI interprets it not as null dates but as '1899-30-12' which is not in the time portion :

Date/Time – Represents both a date and time value. Underneath the covers, the Date/Time value is stored as a Decimal Number Type. So you can actually convert between the two. The time portion of a date is stored as a fraction to whole multiples of 1/300 seconds (3.33 ms). Dates between years 1900 and 9999 are supported.

Microsoft reference

Thus, I get the following error : The visual has unsupported dates.

PS : When I changed the -1 dates to null dates I get the same error.

PS2 : When I changed the -1 dates to 1900-12-31 I get no error.

Is it because the interpreted date is out of range? How can I display this dates as blank?

Thanks for your help!
