I want to simulate what happens on a hierarchychal matrix if I change one cell's value.
@Anonymous
You can use conditional formatting on specific columns in a matrix but only to change background color, change text color, or add data bars to certain cells depending on what parameters you set.
What kind of parameters are you looking to add?
What exactly are you trying to find out if a cell's value changes? Are you looking to see if your outer-hierarchy values or subtotals change? Or something else... more information would be helpful.
Yes, I want to simulate what happens in the matrix if I change values of some cells.
@Anonymous
I see what you're saying. I'm not sure of any way to do that other than duplicating your data with a different index column each time (with the values that you want to test) and setting that index column as a slicer so you can change that value and see how your matrix changes accordingly.
That's what I did for now. Do you know if it would be possible to choose the values from the slicer based on a value selected on my matrix?
