Hi Team,
I am using horizontal bar chart, but its giving a huge space and then displaying the first value.
customer vs count of release
if i use clustered column chart for the same, its not giving out space and there are no blanks.
But i require to use horizontal bar chart for my report.
please see the attached image. kindly help me out
We are seeing the same issue. We use Power BI On Prem and started seeing it when we moved to the Sept 2019 release. We don't see it for every data set, just some of them, so it's possible it was an issue with prior releases. If we switch to a clustered bar or column chart, the issue goes away. But we vastly prefer the horizontal bar chart control because it makes a better use of space in the visual.
Hi @Anonymous ,
I can't reproduce the scenario. In my sample, it showed normally. You could check whether you use the option of show items with no data firstly.
If it don't work, can you please post a dummy file that easier to help?
Best Regards,
Xue

Hi,
I switched the visual to a clustered bar chart and that seems to have resolved the problem. Looks like there is a problem with the Custom Horizontal chart.
Hope this helps.
I knew that switching to clustered bar chart was an alternative; but wanted horizontal bar chart
any updates on this.
Kindly help me !!
I am on a deadline
