Grouping dates in to calendar months

Hello,

Fairly basic PBi knowledge and I'm struggling to work this out and would appreciate any advice please.

I have a list of locations in column A.  I then have individual dates 1st March to present day in columns to the right.

Where these locations and dates meet there are there is a number to reference how many per day, per location.

In Power Bi I would like to produce reports on these numbers by Location and Date (Month).  For example I would like a Line graph with the months in the Axis (March - Oct) and the Locations in the Legend.

Is this possible, if so, an idiots guide would be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

Hi @Fowmy  Thanks for this. My issue is that the spreadsheet I need to use is set out as per below.  INstead of all the dates being in 1 column, they are in individual columns to enable multiple locations to have numbers on each day.  Is there a way to group these dates then creat the ling graph you sent me?

Location1 March2 March3 March
Location 1564
Location 21222

@44Bailey

You must unsymify the data so that the location and date become two columns:
