Group by week measure

Hi Guys,

Could I ask what would be the best way to group a matrix by week number as per my attached image. I would like just one line entry I.e. week 1, week 2 and then the weekly totals next to them.

You need to create a weekly calendar(Or add week in date calendar) and then do it.

Hi @Hodgey87 ,

Drag the matrix visual and set like:

Rows -> Week

Values -> Weekly Total

It will work with this table in the picture if you remove the date column and Weekly Total is set to aggregate the values.

Hi. If you want the value aggregated by week just remove the date of the column and Power Bi will be able to do it. You can build a matrix with week as rows and add the values summarized that you want under Values.
