Graph not plotting correct based on instruction on link

Hi Experts

 

Please find attached two links that i have used to generate the following graph on the right on the attached PBIX file. the graph on the right should mirror the graph on the left. Not sure what i have done wrong in my steps. 

 

The first link is from Greg Deckler Mircosoft MVP

The second link is again greg answering a question on the PBI Community Site

Both links are using the same data set, i have used my, i can plot the graph but i believe there is an error in my DAX somewhere and i cannot see the wood for trees. might be more then a single mistake.

@Anonymous Hey I try to look at your sample pbix file but it is not available, if you still need assistance with this could you please share the file.
