Hi,
I have a table with region, area and district and currently my chart is at region level and showing the sales by my 5 regions. I want to be able to automatically drill down a level to area if only one region is selected and ultimately drill down to district if only one area is selected by a slicer or due to the role/row level security setup.
I've tried creating a new column (not a measure as these can't be used in the axis) using DistinctCount e.g. If( DistinctCount([Region])=1,[Area],[Region[) but that won't work either.
Any ideas would be most welcome.
Lee.
Hi Amit,
Basically, If I have a bar chart showing region (my level 1) showing 4 columns (North, South East & West), but I then either filter the data to just North or my row-level security restricts me to just see North, then I want the bar chart to show the Area (my level 2) instead (i.e. North1, North2, North3 etc) instead of just that single column for North still so they don't have to drill down themselves.
Cheers
Lee.
@LPAN012345 , what do mean by auto drill down? Do you want the axis/row/column to change? If so I doubt that
