Google Analytics data can't load in Power BI

Hi there,

I'm trying to bring all data from Google Analytics in Power BI so and build custom reports for different teams. I connect to GA, select dimentions and metrics, can see the data preview, can see that data in query but as soon as hit 'Load' nothig happens. The message says on saying data is loading. (see screenshot below). I tried to filter the data and upload a very tiny proprtion of it with no luck. I waited for over an hour one and still nothing. Are there any extra settings i need to ajust for the data to load? Is this because there's so much data and it struggles? I'd be gratefull for any possible help to solve this.

The GA connector has always been really flaky. We stopped using it and now just get dumps of data that are loaded into our warehouse
