Hi all,
I have connected Power BI directly with Google Analytics and noticed some strange behaviour in the results:
I have for example 6 Million Sessions. When I expand for the dimension time I still have 6 Million Sessions. When I expand for the dimension Device Category I suddently get 3.5 Million Sessions. Can someone explain this?
Many thanks.
No one who can confirm this behavior? 🤔
Thanks, @amitchandakfor calling out.
hey @Pikachu-Power, if you pulling data from Google cube and not doing any transformation then it is something that is provided by the cube, not sure there is anything on the power bi side.
Are you doing any transformation after connecting to the cube?

hi parry2k,
thanks for your reply. i do not any transformations. just pulling the data from google cube master: dimensions date, device category and values sessions. i have 3.5 million sessions... but when i just pul date and sessions i get 6 million.
do i need to do some transformations? normally google gives me one table with three columns.
Maybe I have wrong understanding of cube models:
In the Power Query Editor: When I order descending i get other values as choose this year and than order descending (these are the right values i want). Maybe someone can explain this behaviour.
@parry2k , can you help with this
