Google Analytics - Avg. Session Duration - Duplicates

Hello!

I'm building a dashboard based on Google Analytics data, the main focus is to show the top visitated pages (sessions) and also the Average Session Duration on those pages, all this is per year only (not daily)

But after customizing the filters, I'm still getting duplicates on pages (and more than two), does anybody know how can I get just one result with an accurate Avg. Session Duration?

any suggestion will be very appreciate it!

Thank you in advance!

@lulumedina so at least you know the underlined problem. It is all about granularity and since GA already calculate the session, not sure how you want to visualize the data, you can surely remove the duplicate rows and need some work around but you have to ask yourself how you want to visualize the data and what is important.

Apparently is no showing me duplicates, but those urls aren't the ones I need to show on my dashboard. 😪

@manikumar34 I think the problem here is something different, GA data come in this from GA, it is not a measure issue or anything like that, it is the raw data that you get from GA. I think this problem is not a measure issue but the issue more of getting raw data from GA.

Just to let you guys know what the issue is (In my opinion).

@lulumedina ,

Not clear.

Try something like this.

DIVIDE(SUMX(table,table[avgsession]*table[pages visited],sum(table[pages visited]),0)

@lulumedina I worked extensively with GA , are you pulling any other column which is making that row unique, can you just take 3 columns to check:

- Page visited

- year

- avg session

and see if you get unique rows.
