Giving separate colors to the individual column header for Table visualizations

Hi Team,

Is it possible to give the separate colors to the individual column headers  for Table visualizations . I can achieve this breaking down to multiple table visualizations but I required with in a one table visualization when I am exporting to excel. I need below format separate colors for table visualization

Hi @Narukkp ,

 

If I understand your requirement correctly that you want to give the separate colors to the individual column headers  for Table visualizations when exporting to excel.

 

I'm afraid that we cannot achieve that format the specific column header currently in Power BI.

 

Though there is a workaround that we could give the separate colors to the individual column headers for the table visual like below, we cannot keep its format when you export to excel.

Export Data feature is used for exporting data, without keeping visual format in .CSV file currently. You can take a look at this article: Export data from Power BI visualizations.

Hello @v-piga-msft .

 

You mention in your above post that there is a work around to assign a custom color to the column headers... what is that work around? I only need to color the headers within Power BI (no exports) so the work around would be very helpful.

You can define a color for your column in the field formatting section, apply the color on the header also. Then in the conditional formatting section, create a rule to display always the background with the color white.
