Getting images into power BI

Hi,

I want to create reports / pivot tables that include images of the products we sell.  We have lots of images stored on our server, plus we have the active products on our website.

What is the best way for me to get these images into power BI / power pivot?

I can store an image per product on OneDrive.

How can I get an embed code for the image  stored on OneDrive?

Cheers

Sam

Hi, @SamTaylor

1. You may go to the OneDrive website and sign in with your Microsoft account.

2. Pick the image you want to include in Power BI reports or  dashboards.

3. Copy the path for the corresponding image.

You may create a table with a 'image URL' column and publish the report to service. Here is the result.

HI @SamTaylor

You have to store the image on a url location where PBI service can access it or where you host the report.

OneDrive will have your credentials so when you publish it to server, it maynot work with server credentials you have to sign in on the server with your credentials.

Chwkc the below link for displaying images.

Hi @SamTaylor

Right click on your image and click share, you would get the below share page.

You have to select Anyone with the link if it is enabled for you or you can check other options on the popup.
