I expecting a solution for the following
On the left, the total 64 is the sum of the item title.
On the right the measure is the distinct count of the item title. While analysing in deep I find the following
For the right graph, the total 26 is actually the distinct value of the items. But I want the sum of the intigers whichis actually 64. PFB, the analysis for both the graph as table:

Is your requirement for the number of specific item types in each month? You can create a calculated column to classify item categories, and then calculate the total number of categories.
Column = CALCULATE(COUNTROWS(Table2),ALLEXCEPT(Table2,Table2[Item Title]))

As per my understanding, you need to count the distinct row count the rows
you can use the function
Covering the world! 9:00-10:30 AM Sydney, 4:00-5:30 PM CET (Paris/Berlin), 7:00-8:30 PM Mexico City
