Hello, I wonder how I can extract or get a "sum or sumx of something" to be a fixed number or value.
I want to do this so I can use that fixed value in other calculations without the value being affected by filters and so on.
Example:
I want the sum of my sales for a given period which gives me SUM'Sales'[sales]=1000
How do I extract this value of '1000'!?
In a further calculation I want to calculate "1000+something else" and be able to filter and slice without my 1000 being filtered or affected at all.
Thanks/Sebastian

@Anonymous ,
Because you don't want slicer based on other column to filter the value 1000, so you may create a new seperate table using DAX like pattern below:
New Table = SUMMARIZE ( Sales, "Total Sales", SUM ( Sales[Sales] ) )
