Get rid of arrow in table column header?

Is it possible to remove or hide the arrows that show up in the column headers on a table?

For example, below it does not show up for Metrics Health but does for Metrics Status:

Based on my test, in the table visual, by default the arrow doesn't show up unless you sort on the column. I don't find any way to hide the arrow after it apears but you can try to remove and re-add that field to the table.
