Get month of first date

Hi,

 

need to create expected calculated column based on Column1. expected calculated column should have month of first date.

for eg:

if column1 have dec month(date), then expected column should have dec month of first date.

 

Column1                 Expected calculated column

 

12/05/2019                12/01/2019

12/01/2019                12/01/2019

11/25/2019                11/01/2019

01/01/2020                 01/01/2020

01/30/2019                 01/01/2020

Start of Month = 
EOMONTH ( Table[Column1], 1 ) + 1

Use

 

STARTOFMONTH('Calendar'[DATES])
 
Is the last line in the sample a type error? 01/01/2019 instead of 01/01/2020
