When i connecto to a PowerBI dataset, I cannot see what they put on the Measure(meaning i cannot see the code).
Is there a way to check what they put on the measure?
Its not showing whenever i connect to powerbi dataset.
Solved! Go to Solution.
The dataset owner needs to do this but they can use Tabular Editor to auto add all the measure expressions into the Description metadata for each one. That way, the expression will show up with people hover over the measure even during a live connection.

Hi @Anonymous
Yes, its correct. According https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/desktop-report-lifecycle-datasets#limitations-and-considerations
Since this connection is a live connection, left-navigation and modeling are disabled
you can save as this dataset as new and add your measures on download pbix-file instead of live connection mode
So there's no way to check the existing Measure codes?
