Get data in Power BI Desktop from another pbix dataset

I have a Pbix but want to get data from another dataset to create another visual. But when I try to 'Get PBI dataset' through 'Get data', it says, 'the Connect live option is disabled'. so how can I get that dataset into my current one?

Hi @laurafubj,

Do you mean you have gotten the error information like the picture below?

If so, due to the live connection mode in Power BI could not support Composite Models, if you have imported other data source in this pbix, you could not get data from Power BI datasets, I suggest you to create a new file to get the data.
