Get data from new relic/datadog/jira from desktop?

no jira.PNG

I have a request from the client to create a report where data coming from different sources. Before we only have done connecting to files.

I would like to get ready for questions what exactly do I need to be able to get the data. As an example, if I need to connect to SQL Server I need to know server name/instance name, theoretically. I can ask the client to provide this info. So what do I need for other sources? How do I get data from the:

  • New Relic service?
  • Datadog?
  • Jira? it seems like Jira supposed to be on the list from Get Data but I don't have it on desktop? If I connect to Jira via Web - what to choose from options on how to display it: HTML, file... How to deal with log ins? VPN Access?

What info do I need to know before we even start?

Thank you!

@Anonymous ,

Currently power bi doesn't support New Relic service and Datadog. Please see idea below and you may also submit your idea about connector with Datadog.

About how to connect to JIRA dataset in power bi desktop, I would suggest you to refer to this similar thread:
