Get a dimensional table from SSAS multidimensional with DAX without measure

Hello,

I want to load a dimensional table from my SSAS multidimensional cube. I don't want to load a measure, just the dimension.

For the dimension I also need some DIMENSION PROPERTIES, so I have to write my query in MDX.

I tried it like this in management studio what works pretty fine:

SELECT
  {
  } ON COLUMNS,
  {
    (
      DESCENDANTS(
        [Organization].[Organization].[Hierarchie].allmembers
      )
    )
  } DIMENSION PROPERTIES member_caption, [Organization].[Organization].[Hierarchie].[REQUID], [Organization].[Organization].[Hierarchie].[ANOTHERID]
   ON ROWS
FROM [MYSERVER] CELL PROPERTIES value

When I paste the query in Power Query the dimension elements are not going to be loaded. Power Query will just load empty columns. Is it possible to solve my problem in Power Query?

Why isn't it possible to load the table without a measure and how could I solve that?

Thank you and best regards

Hi,

try this.

WITH
MEMBER [Measures].[Organization] AS [Organization].[Organization].CURRENTMEMBER.MEMBER_CAPTION
SELECT
{ [Measures].[Organization] }
ON COLUMNS,
  {
    (
      DESCENDANTS(
        [Organization].[Organization].[Hierarchie].allmembers
      )
    )
  }
DIMENSION PROPERTIES [Organization].[Organization].[Hierarchie].[REQUID]
                   , [Organization].[Organization].[Hierarchie].[ANOTHERID]
ON ROWS
FROM [MYSERVER]
CELL PROPERTIES VALUE
