Get Slicer to filter Today initially

Is it possible when opening a report, the slicer filters the current day and then if users want to check other dates, they can.

arc2022_0-1670324488824.png

The "end date" of my slicer captures the current day correctly, but the "start date" always filters by the day that I published my report to the Power BI Service.

I have to keep my slicer format as it is in the image, so the user has the possibility to select the date range that he wants to analyze.

Any ideas?

Hi @arc2022 ,

It does not seem to be possible at this time. Or someone else can correct me.

For the start date, you can apply a persistent filter that fixes the publish date before publishing.

For the end date, I was thinking of applying a custom visual named preselected slicer. After testing, it does not support the between type of slicer.

It is recommended that you submit this idea here.
